We as a family come every year to Blackpool at the Glasgow Sept weekend and for the last 40 plus years have been to many hotels and bed and breakfasts but this year we wanted to try a caravan. On arrival park looked well kept as we were early we went in to have drinks and a bite to eat in the show boat restaurant, it was clean, staff pleasant and food was nice.
Check in for us was 4pm it was a bit hectic as people were still checking in from 2pm/3pm but we got there.
We got to our caravan and it was spotless, clean and tidy. It was also toasty as well with gas radiators in each room. The beds were so comfy. It had a nice decor of nautical with it.
The entertainment was ok , we played bingo a few times. Drinks reasonable priced. The female that was doing the entertainment on the Friday night could have spoken to the kids going on/off the stage in a better manner, we were mortified as to what she said. " keep of the stage I have told you all week to stay off It, and now I'm sick of saying it. "Not really a attitude to take when you dealing with young children. This was our only issue.
We did not use the pool so cannot comment on that. We took the bus from gate to Blackpool twice. It is a bar in of £8 return for 4 people. We would defo come back next year.
This year has been a record year for Holidays in the UK Next year is expected to be even better.
