Southport Pier - a Grade II listed, Southport Pier the oldest iron pier in the country, standing for over 150 years. This pier is the 2nd longest in the country, so you will be glad to know that the pier has its own tram. And if there isn't enough history in the pier itself, in the pier pavilion you can view a small exhibition on Southport's history as well as playing traditional penny slot machines including pre decimal one armed bandits.
Southport Marine Lake - at Marine Lake you’ll find a choice of water based activities to keep the whole family entertained. Marine Lake also has pedalos and motor boats for hire as well as offering high speed rides on a power boat.
Southport Model Railway Village - has typical southwest Lancashire architecture the site consists of a country scene, village and town. Also the spectacular attraction consists of beautiful vistas and fabulous panoramic views of the miniature landscape and railway layout.
Southport Pleasureland - is a fantastic day out for the whole family. Now with new rides this makes a great day out for all the family. Come along for a day of fun and laughter with resident actors and also a magician, performances around the park all day. Cafe where you can grab a drink.
Splash World Southport - is home to a water park second to none. Kept at a constant 84 degrees Fahrenheit all year around. With fast flumes and river rides, a relaxing bubble spa and a brand new, recently refurbished toddler area and water play area including tipping buckets and fountains so there's gallons of watery fun for everyone. As well as the leisure pool there is another 25 metre main pool, a toddler pool, a sauna cabin and steam suite and large sports hall. There is also a fantastic Fitness Suite with a massive range of state-of-the-art equipment and an activity studio with a wide and varied class programme.
Southport Air Show - the largest Air Show in the North West in an annual event on Southport Beach. With military, historical, civilian and stunt aircraft in the air, and plenty of entertainment and attractions on the ground, this is an event for the entire family.
